Well this is now my final post for Wales.
Sorry that this last Wales post has taken so long to be posted. The last few months have been rather busy, what with preparing for my exhibition, and like I said in my previous Wales post, this is one image which has taken me sometime to complete, mainly due to the perfectionist nature I have with my photography.
This image is off Caernarfon Castle, and has been made by stitching a total of nearly 30 images together. It has taken a while to create and finish, so hopefully now you will be able to see why it has taken me so long to post this online, and also why I left this image as my final photograph from Wales for you all.
As always click the image to enlarge, it is truly worth it with this image.
I hope you enjoy the photo, feel free to leave comments. Till next time.

With all this amazing weather, it is just perfect for photography.
So over the weekend I went for a walk into the woods near me, it was a really enjoyable walk and nice and cooling too. The rest of the photos that I took will be posted in the future on here.
But my main aim was to get up to Castle Rock, which is one of the viewing points within the wood, where on a clear day you can see all the way into Manchester which is nearly 18 miles away from Castle Rock.
To get the best view of this image it really needs to be seen large, so as usual click to enlarge it.
I hope you enjoy the photo, feel free to leave comments, till next time.

I have had a little change of heart.
This will now be my penultimate Wales post and it focuses on the main part of Caernarfon, which is Caernarfon Castle. I was lucky enough to be at the castle one night just as the sun was setting, creating a warm glow onto the old stone of the castle. It was such a treat seeing how the photos turned out.
As usual click the images to enlarge them.
My next Wales post will once again focus on Caernarfon Castle, but it will be one sole image, it is an image that has taken me sometime to finish. But I am rather proud of it, and I feel the image deserves a post all of its own.
I hope you enjoy them, feel free to leave some comments. Till next time.

Carrying on from my previous Tales of a City post.
These are the final four of the series of eight photographs that I did for my Degree Show. It was such fun to do this series of images, especially with using colour film. It really gave such a richness to the images and I love the grain, aswell as the depth of field I achieved in the images.
Some of the locations that I shot the images at, I did get some odd looks though, thats all in the life of a photographer I suppose. Click the images to enlarge them.
I hope you enjoy them, feel free to leave comment, till next time.

Thanks to The Young Creative, for there feature on me.
Remember you can check out more of my articles and press clippings in the Press section of my blog.
Based in Manchester, Steven has a love of all things outdoors. ‘I’ve always had a love of the architecture and landscapes around us,’ he says. ‘Maybe it comes from my dad being a joiner and builder.’
His work, therefore, tends to focus on architecture, landscape and still-life compositions. ‘I like to capture the lines and forms of the city and countryside,’ he says, ‘whether they be man-made or natural.’
Tell us a bit about yourself…
From my time at college I gained a love for photography from one of my modules in the course I was doing. I then progressed into a photography degree at The University of Bolton, where I gained my degree and graduated in 2010. Since then, I have continued to further my passion for photography, as well as working as a freelance photographer…

A little look back at one of my previous photo projects today.
During my time at university I gained a love for still life photography, in particular using miniature figures within the photographs. These photos are from my Degree Show, and were all shot on a 35mm film camera with Kodak Portra 400 VC colour film, they are all based on different social issues from drinking, homelessness, public disturbances and prostitution.
Here are the first four photos from my Tales of a City, with the other photos to come soon. Click the images to enlarge them.
I hope you enjoy the photos, feel free to leave comment, till next time.
