Tales of a City 1

03/05/2012 § 2 Comments

A little look back at one of my previous photo projects today.

During my time at university I gained a love for still life photography, in particular using miniature figures within the photographs. These photos are from my Degree Show, and were all shot on a 35mm film camera with Kodak Portra 400 VC colour film, they are all based on different social issues from drinking, homelessness, public disturbances and prostitution.

Here are the first four photos from my Tales of a City, with the other photos to come soon. Click the images to enlarge them.

I hope you enjoy the photos, feel free to leave comment, till next time.

Thanks

Steven

  • I love these images, I was made aware via Flipbook on the ipad and just tweeted as Business Boom Bolton retweeted your post! Tiny people are obviously big at the mo!!

    • Thanks, glad you like them, I have got another post with photos from this set of images to be posted soon, they were from a few years back for my degree show at uni, but mini figures never seem to lose there charm, always a funny and make people laugh.
